I have March birthdays in my world……here is wishing all of the Pisces and Gemini’s in that world a happy year! 

The calendar above was a gift from my sister- I love it.  It resides on my kitchen counter and makes me smile each time I look at it.  Can you guess what I am going to make?  Oh yes- guacamole!

I have a tiny case of Wanderlust…………so I am headed to South Tamworth NH tomorrow for a few days.

I am so excited to spend some time with Jim.  We will be skiing at Cranmore Mountain on Friday (I haven’t skiied since last year in Stowe VT) and mixing it up with good dinners- nice wine and great conversation. 

I couldn’t be more excited!

It’s Friday already?

A yoga class- cooking a few delicious recipes-a walk in the woods and a hot stone message.  Ah.

Side note- Vladimir Nabokov was born on my birthday- just found that out today when I was searching for quotes!!!!  Funny- I hoard quotes for posts but most times I just goolge a topic and read tons and tons of quotes until one hits me.  My search of love at first site brought me to today’s quote and it was the only one I looked at beacuse I really liked it.  I continued on to read about Vladimir Nabokov and wala- he was born on 4/23 too!

Friday Find:

Ephemera. 

 I love it.

 I have TONS of it. 

 At least once a month I look thru my boxes (and boxes and boxes) filled with ticket stubs-photos-letters-birthday cards-playbills- treasure maps made by my nephew- newspaper clippings that shape my memories.  One of my favorite items is this tag that my sweet niece made at Thanksgiving- oh my.

I have a need to actually touch the paper.

 My Dad passed away 5 years ago this month and being able to touch a card that his hands were on makes me feel connected to him. 

 My need to fondle ephemera may make this Friday Find for you but not for me.
